Secure Legal Consultations
The Socrates Virtual Legal Visits system provides secure video calling, as well as the ability for attorneys to share documents with detainees for them to sign remotely.
Socrates provides a private secure WiFi network where possible, or sets up devices with secure SIM cards which also provide a private encrypted connection for legal discussions. VLV is used by ICE, prisons and jails to help facilitate legal visits as mandated by the federal government.
Purpose-Built Solution
Our Virtual Legal Visits product consists of a soundproof booth, pods designed to keep confidential conversations, phone calls, and video conferencing completely private and two tablets for each private booth: one for video calls, and one to read and sign documents.
An enclosed, robust kiosk version is available for facilities where a more rugged approach is required. Safeguards are in place to prevent misuse, with all participants checked in advance.
